How to Fill Whoopie Pies

Part cake, part cookie, whoopie pies are a perfect baked treat. If you love making whoopie pies but hate icing them, we have a few tips that can make icing whooping pies easy.

• For a perfectly neat filling, put the fluffy whoopie icing into a piping bag and neatly squeeze equal amounts in the centre of your pies.
• If you don’t have a piping bag, use an ice cream scoop and then press the tops down gently for a polished result.
• Two spoons can also work if you don’t have an ice cream scoop or a piping bag. Simply scoop a dollop of icing, and then use the second spoon to neatly place it on the bottom piece.
